Official Version of Naval Incident Starts to Unravel
Israelis and their allies in the US administration do not tolerate obstacles - including patriotic US Naval officials who expose their hoaxes. There are a few clear heads remaining in the upper eschelons of the US Armed Forces which have managed to escape the earlier purges of the Rumsfeld-OSP-Wolfowitz-Feith cabal. Admiral Fallon and other like-minded American officers should have their drivers check their cars before starting the engines - the mafia that took us to war in Iraq and is pushing for war with Iran can get very rough. It is disgusting to have this played out again and again and again. They will never be satisfied until they have destroyed all independent nations in the Middle East using American manpower and treasure - and destroying the US economy and Bill of Rights in the process.

Edmund Tijerina: Well-earned recognition goes to S.A. filmmakers ...
Lots of love for some of the creativity within our city. Perhaps most recently, students in the cinema department of the North East School of the Arts received a selection to attend the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Yes, this is the winter event founded by Robert Redford that has grown into one of the most important events in the film industry. They are going as a part of a program with the Sundance Institute, where they'll have the opportunity to attend screenings, panels and other festival events. Big congratulations to the students: Dylan Altman, Joseph Darrin, Emma Davis, Miles Fermin, Adrian Gonzales , Rebecca Potts, Gabe Rosen, Junius Ross-Martin , Margaret Ross-Martin, and Nisa Sanders. Later this week, folks from the school are working with the Magik Theatre and Crumpets restaurant to throw a reception for the students, which will also aim to raise some cash to help them pay for their trip.
Who killed Teletubby television?
There was a time when everybody watched Muffin the Mule dancing on a piano. There was a time when old Jack Hargreaves told everybody "How". There was a time when everybody laughed when John Noakes said "And now it’s my turn!" on Blue Peter. A time when everybody watched Newsround, mesmerised by John Craven’s sweaters. There was a time when everybody watched Noel Edmonds running about on Multi-Coloured Swap Shop on Saturday mornings. And when everybody knew Ant and Dec as just two actors on Byker Grove. There was a time, there was a time… Now there are 28 "kids’ " satellite channels, from Tiny Pop + 1 to Disney and the Cartoon Network and, though Channel 4 and ITV have all but given up on children’s TV, BBC1 still pumps it out, as does Five, though only for the under-sevens.
